Centre International Santander entrepreneurship (ICSE) launches the V Edition in Alicante YUZZ “young people with Ideas” program for the promotion of young talent and entrepreneurial spirit. the call, coordinated by the Observatory of labour inclusion of the University of Alicante, Alicante will remain open until February 19. Interested persons must submit their candidature through a form available at www.yuzz.org.

The selected candidates will have the opportunity to develop their business idea and the best projects will choose different Awards such as: multiple trips to Silicon Valley, scholarships to attend the Fórum IMPULSA and 60,000 euros in prize money to finance your project.

For the selection of the participants personal interviews shall take place following a pre-selection based on the assessment of aspects such as: the entrepreneurial profile and the path of the candidate, his ability to communicate the proposed idea, the component of the project, its creativity and the growth potential of the business.

The projects chosen will be incorporated into the program and will benefit from access to Alicante Yuzz Center, located in the student residence Europe House, where will have space to develop your idea, can interact with other entrepreneurs and training of a network of more than 200 expert professionals who will guide them, together with a tutor in the realization of the most viable for each project business plan.

Once finished the process of training and advice, best young each YUZZ centres will be a trip to Silicon Valley, the global Mecca for innovation in the field of new technologies, where it will provide access to forums financing, advice on internationalization and investor contact. In addition, the three best projects from across the country will receive a cash prize to help them start their business: €30,000 for the first prize, €20,000 for the second and €10,000 for the third.

YUZZ, a bet on innovation

YUZZ is a program for 18-30 year olds that offers, for five months, support, training and advice to develop business plans based on technology-based ideas. In their six previous national editions have been created more than 500 companies and entrepreneurs 600 with 378 projects in 24 centres throughout Spain YUZZ have participated in the last year.

In the new edition the programme incorporates significant developments: improvements in the planning of the calendar and the training programme, increase scholarships to travel to Silicon Valley, more awards and internal challenges and scholarships will be awarded for the prestigious event of national entrepreneurship Forum IMPULSA.
