Today begins Spin2014, the biggest event of the Ibero-American University entrepreneurship, which meet in Mexico more than 1,500 people linked to the world of entrepreneurship, the University and the company, and fifty experts and mentors international. the Centro Cultural Universitario Tlatelolco, UNAM, will host two seminars which will be held under the slogan “ take unites us“.
Spin2014 is an event organized by the National Autonomous University of Mexico, the Instituto Politécnico Nacional and the Tecnológico de Monterrey, together with the University network RedEmprendia, as well as Universia and Banco Santander, which carries out a fundamental work of patronage through its Santander universities Global Division.
With the aim of promoting the entrepreneurial talent of the Ibero-American University, Spin2014 offers its participants experiences, the possibility of learning with mentors and experts, discuss the entrepreneurial University of the future and c onocer transferred trends from the University laboratory to the company.
Additionally the event will host the final of the programs support University entrepreneurship IDEup and Model2Market that distributed more than $ 75,000 between business projects born in the Ibero-American universities. 40 finalists from 9 countries compete.

Special relevance will be the figure of women entrepreneurs, with the line of strategic action “M 3: women who move the world”. Discussions on women’s leadership in innovation, dialogue will be held with successful entrepreneurs and proposals to enhance the talents of women and their contribution to the creation of wealth and the improvement of the quality of life.

Spin2014 is an example of partnership between the University, the Administration and the company to contribute to an economy based on knowledge and technological development. The event has the support of the National Council of science and technology – CONACYT, and sponsored by companies such as Clarke, Modet & Cº, and Mexican as Nafin, FEMSA and the Mexican Institute of intellectual property (IMPI).
