The Pando Science and Technology Park represents the first science and technology park in Uruguay, promoting the development of technology-based productive activities and technology services.
It is responsible for the networking among academia and the productive sector, taking advantage of existing local capacities in science and technology and working under an open innovation model. Among its activities, it develops an incipient task of technology monitoring and competitive intelligence as part of R&D projects.
