International Congress on Open Data and Reuse of Public Sector Information

On September 23 and 24 is held at the University of Alicante the International Congress on Open Data and Reuse of Public Sector Information. The congress is aimed at researchers, students and professionals interested in the application of open access or open data in the public field, with leading experts such as Kiko Llaneras. There is a space for success stories in areas such as journalism, tourism, environment, governance and law.

In addition, the congress is open to the participation of all interested parties through the presentation of communications and participation in work tables. The main subject areas:

  • Open data in Tourism
  • Contracting and economic value of data
  • Open data and environment
  • Comparative Law. Open data and RISP in the EU context

Free communications may also be accepted as long as they fit into the study and research of open data and the reuse of public sector information, with a special interest in the analysis of Directive (EU) 2019/1024 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of June 20, 2019, regarding open data and the reuse of public sector information and its legal consequences.
