Is held from September 29 to October 1 in Santiago de Compostela (Spain) Spin2016, the Ibero-American meeting of reference in entrepreneurship and innovation, which this year will focus on the cultural and creative industries and has become in platform to drive high-impact companies based on knowledge and r & d of Latin America , Spain and Portugal.
Spin2016 is powered by RedEmprendia, with the support of the Xunta de Galicia, the three Galician universities – Universidade de Santiago de Compostela (USC), Universidade de Vigo (UVigo) and Universidade da Coruña, Universidade do Porto, the Fundación Cidade da Cultura de Galicia and Banco Santander, through Santander universities.
Under the slogan “creating entrepreneurial culture“, Spin2016 will offer support to students with entrepreneurial initiative to successfully develop their business projects. To achieve this, a program that includes lectures, conferences, marketplace, workshops and seminars and awards worth 100,000 euros is designed.
Spin2016 will count with the participation of businessmen and experts of international business, academia, science, food, among others. they will share their experiences and knowledge with more than 2,000 attendees who expected the organisation of the event. Will be provided, in particular, the generation of contacts, networking and partnering between participants, and entrepreneurship will also take to the streets of Santiago de Compostela.
Attendance at the event is free after registration.
For entrepreneurs who have not yet made the leap to the market, RedEmprendia has launched a new edition of “Model2Market” in the framework of Spin2016, program to strengthen business models born in the University that stand out for their high degree of innovation and potential social and economic impact.
On the other hand, the main investors, equity funds risk and business angels of Latin America, Spain and Portugal will go to Spin2016 to participate in “SmartMoney4Stars”, a forum for investment and opportunities to accelerate knowledge and technology-based spin-offs and startups University.
