From November 22 to 26, SIGESTI 2021 will be held virtually from Cuba. This is the 3rd Meeting on Management Systems for Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), promoted by the Information Technology Company (ETI) of the BioCubaFarma Business Group in Cuba.
Biannually, SIGESTIC brings together professionals linked to information technology, computer science, automation, telecommunications and information science with the objective to disseminate research results related to the development of management systems linked to the computerization processes of society. Under the slogan “Shortening distances”, this edition will focus on “Digital transformation for the sustainability of the business ecosystem” and will address the following topics:
- Cybersecurity, infrastructures and protection of information technologies in the face of the challenges of the digital environment.
- Innovation and sustainability as strategic tools in business management for sustainable development.
- Emerging technologies that drive digital transformation in the business environment.
- Computerization of industrial decision support processes.
- Management systems and information technologies in the face of the new challenges of the current context. Information and knowledge management, surveillance and strategic intelligence: support processes to promote innovation.
In addition, this new edition of SIGESTIC 2021 will feature the OVTT keynote: Technology Observatory of the University of Alicante. Title of the talk:: «Technology observatories in the network: experiences from the OVTT of the University of Alicante (Spain)», this presentation seeks to reflect on the current context and technology monitoring and intelligence, analyse the role of technological observatories in this context and provide inputs to improve the practice of surveillance and intelligence in organizations.
