From July 14 to 16, 2021, the XIII Ibero-American Congress of Science, Technology and Gender is held in Quito (Ecuador). The event is promoted by OEI-Ecuador and CIESPAL, with the academic endorsement of the National Polytechnic School (EPN) and the Laboratory of Science, Technology and Society (CTS LAB) of FLACSO Ecuador.
Given the global impact of COVID-19 pandemic, the organizers were forced to move this landmark meeting in Ibeoramérica to 2021, also expanding its thematic axes: History and Sociology of science. Epistemological approaches. Didactics of science and technology. Scientific and technological dissemination. Mass media science and technology. Feminist perspectives on health. New technological perspectives. Ancestral knowledge. Ecofeminism, sustainability and climate change.
The meeting is open to the participation of all interested parties. For this, the important dates are: Deadline for receipt of papers: February 27, 2021.
