From the 24 to 25 of February it will be held in Burgos (Spain) the I Iberoamerican Congress on Social Networks, iRedes. More than 30 national and international speakers will present their vision of the rise of social networking, its current role and what are the major trends that will occur in the future. It is expected to attend more than 250 professionals involved with social networking, community managers, communications experts and digital entrepreneurs.

The inaugural event will be attended by Sebastian Muriel, director of, featuring “Public Administration in Social Media”. On the other hand, the closing ceremony will be presented by Arturo Perez-Reverte and the paleontologist and co-director of the Atapuerca, Juan Luis Arsuaga, who will participate in a “face to face” titled “Social networking from Atapuerca to Twitter”.
