From the 24 to 25 of February it will be held in Burgos (Spain) the I Iberoamerican Congress on Social Networks, iRedes. More than 30 national and international speakers will present their vision of the rise of social networking, its current role and what are the major trends that will occur in the future. It is expected to attend more than 250 professionals involved with social networking, community managers, communications experts and digital entrepreneurs.

The inaugural event will be attended by Sebastian Muriel, director of Red.es, featuring “Public Administration in Social Media”. On the other hand, the closing ceremony will be presented by Arturo Perez-Reverte and the paleontologist and co-director of the Atapuerca, Juan Luis Arsuaga, who will participate in a “face to face” titled “Social networking from Atapuerca to Twitter”.

Other familiar faces from will be Icarus Moyano, communications director of Tuenti, Laura I. Gomes, director of internationalization of Twitter, Rosalia Lloret, managing director of digital development of Unidad Editorial, Gumersindo Lafuente, director de Soitu.es, Ignacio Escolar, blogger and renowned journalist, Paul Mancini, Digital Services Manager of Grupo Clarin, Argentina, or Nicole Forttes, digital media consultant and web 2.0 of the Government of Chile, among others.
