The company creation is an instrument that universities and public research centres use to contribute to the socio-economic development of its environment’s influence. To encourage the exchange of experiences on those management processes, Red OTRI publishes a technical report: “Creation of technology-based companies from public research centres”.
This technical report aims to make available to those who have interest in the creation of technology companies from the public environment, a broad and generic view of those processes and variables to take into account. It offers also support tool in the definition of policies in research centres and universities, as well as in decision-making and approaches.
This publication has been prepared by the spin-off network working group and has counted with the participation of the University of Alicante.
