Infoday: The future of Software protection
The University of Alicante hosts the conference on software protection, with the latest developments in software protection and artificial intelligence.

On June 6, 2023, the University of Alicante hosts the open conference “The future of Software protection”, promoted by the Intellectual and Industrial Property Unit of ​​the Technology Transfer Office of the University of Alicante (OTRI UA) and the Tribalyte Ideas Office.

Artificial intelligence has arrived to transform the property of scientific and technological knowledge, especially in the ICT sector. For this reason, this conference will be an opportunity to learn about the latest trends in software protection and artificial intelligence from experts in the field. Those participants interested in arranging meetings with Tribalyte Ideas must write previously to patentes.otri@ua.es before May 31st.

The program includes the participation of professional experts such as Mr. Troy Anderson, Tech Entrepreneur Formerly Funder and CTO of Syncro MSP, who will speak about the present and future impact of artificial intelligence in business, or Nicolás Escudero, CEO of Tribalyte Ideas and European patent agent, which will explain the practical keys to protect software and artificial intelligence in intellectual property offices such as the EPO, USPTO, and CNIPA.

The University of Alicante participates in different sessions through the Vice President for Knowledge Transfer, Innovation, and Dissemination and the Technology Transfer Office. It counts with the participation of Aurelio López-Tarruella Martínez, Director of the Chair for the Responsible Development of the Metaverse and Professor Head of Private International Law, and Antonio Pertusa Ibánez, Director of the University Institute of Computer Research of the UA.
