The Ibero-American Food clusters Forum promotes innovation and technological cooperation in the agri-food industry for 2021.

From June 30 to July 1stis held online the 1st Ibero-American Food Custers Forum, promoted jointly by the Galician Innovation Agency (Gain) through the Enterprise Europe Network, the Food Cluster of Galicia (Clusaga, Spain), the Agrifood Cluster of Nuevo León (Mexico), the FoodTech Hub (Brazil), the Association for the Food Industry of Castilla y León (Spain) and the Agroindustrial Cluster of Centro (Portugal).

This Ibero-American meeting seeks collaboration among companies and organizations in the Ibero-American food sector, focusing on research, innovation, commercialization, import and export and bilateral meeting promotion.

The event will feature the participation of Eva Revilla, policy officer of DG GROW (European Commission), Carmen Luisa Sánchez, manager of the agri-food area of ​​the CYTED program, and Vanda Narciso , EEN Portugal coordinator at the Agência para a Competitividade e Inovação.

Success stories in collaborative agri-food innovation in the Ibero-American space will be presented by José Manuel Lorenzo, head of research at the Meat Technology Center, Jorge Welti, professor and researcher at the Monterrey Technological Institute, and by Paulo Silveira, managing partner of Food Tech HUB.

Marta Delgado del Río, insights & innovation analyst at Innova Market Insights, and María Naranjo, director of food, wine and gastronomy at ICEX Spain, will present trends and opportunities in the food landscape.

On the last day, the Forum will host a brokerage event where participants will have the opportunity to establish bilateral online meetings, previously scheduled through the B2match platform.
