More than 70 representatives of scientific and technological parks and their Spanish and Portuguese companies met on the 5th and 6th of June in the Science and Technology Park of Huelva (Spain).The aim was to celebrate the seventh edition of the Iberian Meeting of Scientific and technological parks, under the topic “Implementation of the strategy of Spanish-Portuguese business cooperation for EU coming funds management”.

The central subject of this edition was the analysis of the next european support programs with special emphasis in Horizon 2020 and Regional Smart Strategies Specialisation (RIS3), allowing advance funding opportunities through EU funds and boost collaboration of the science and technology parks of Spain and Portugal in European projects.

The next edition, XII International Conference of APTE, will be held in the Technological Park of Fuerteventura in 2014.
