On September 27th and 28th, the 1st Ibero-American Symposium on Technological Scouting and Strategic Intelligence was held in Argentina. This event was organized by the VINTEC Program in collaboration with the National Network of Territorial Nodes of Technological Scouting and Strategic Intelligence in Argentina.

Successful participation marks the 1st Ibero-American Symposium on Technological Scouting and Strategic Intelligence

The symposium gathered national and international experts from Ibero-America in key areas of strategic intelligence, addressing topics such as technological scouting, competitive intelligence, international trade, foresight, and intellectual property. The aim of the presentations was to promote new practices, tools, and methodologies to strengthen the strategic management of knowledge in R&D from this perspective of strategic information management.

The thematic panels of the event were opened by the Technological Observatory of the University of Alicante, with a lecture by Alba Santa on “Trends in communication to enhance the impact of strategic intelligence.” The event featured participation from experts and experiences from Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
