The Lima Manual (2016) is produced by UNESCO Institute for Statistics (UIS) and the OCTS-OEI and represents the reference methodological manual for measuring Higher Education in Ibero-America.

It is a technical proposal that defines a set of indicators capable of standardizing higher education statistical information and its measurement. Examines also some aspects not yet systematized in education and includes a wide variety of indicators, addressing dimensions such as human resources, financing, research and other technological activities, allowing the a space for reflection of Higher Education in Ibero-America.
