Bolivia is one of the Latin American economies where the digital startups phenomenon emerge in recent years. To characterize this emerging ecosystem, they publish the Mapping of Digital Technology Ecosystem in Bolivia 2019, promoted by Funda-Pró, SOLYDES and the Emprender Futuro Foundation.
The study summarizes the main findings related to the baseline of the Digital Technology Ecosystem in Bolivia, providing information on the different actors, exploring their status and analysing future opportunities and challenges. Among the topics addressed in this first stage there are the current analysis of startups in the country, as well as the analysis of the role of women in the technology industry and the catalogue of institutions that support entrepreneurship in the country.
