INBERSO is an initiative arising from the University of Santiago de Compostela within Uniemprende program and aims to create a system to make easier the process of corporate finance. They try to connect technology projects in emerging phases that need funding external, with a number of investors that are interested in investing in such projects.

It is about developing a market where start-ups can access financing beyond the usual circuits in most cases limited to business angels and venture capital. A sort of alternative market of spin-off, with a clear focus on companies that emerge from research projects within the university and seek to develop the commercial side.

The scope is for Spain and Latin America. On the web investors can find a directory with more than 200 technology companies seeking funding and lines of research or patents held by those companies. The challenge of a project of this type is attracting interest from investors as they see it as a space where to find talent and business opportunities as already happens in investment forums.
