On September 27 and 28, the VI International Symposium on Social and Technological Innovation takes place in Medellín (Colombia): social innovation towards 2030, led by the institutions of Higher Education that make up the RISES. The meeting addresses the central theme “Social innovation towards 2030: a universe of opportunities”, focused on the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals.
This Symposium on Social and Technological Innovation is an academic and research exercise that has been developed since 2013, with the aim of generating critical mass in the city of Medellin around innovation and its different themes, especially social and technological . The Symposium seeks to generate processes and actions of:
Research around social innovation processes.
Promotion of the development of internal innovation systems in universities, communities and other actors.
Participation and connection with spaces and organizations that promote these themes.
Accompainment and visibility of social innovation processes.
