From the 29th of February to 3rd of March it is held in Rio of Janeiro (Brazil) the Rio Content Market 2012, an international event on production of contents opened to the industry of the television and the digital media.

Rio Content Market has turned into an international market of companies of the audioviovisual sector, mobiles and video games, that gathers producers, commissioning editors, and responsible of acquisitions of channels of television of these genders of all the world.

In its first edition, RioContentMarket promoted a meeting between 170 executives of the national and international market looking for exchange of experiences, in which participated more than 1000 members of the industry of television and the digital media.

The second edition of RioContentMarket will present keynotes and signposts of professionals of reference of the sector. There will be debates, sessions of pitching, rounds of businesses and novelties: the Lab Transmedia, the programming NextMedia and a space for stands.

The Lab Transmedia will select 12 projects (Brazilian and Latin American) divided in three main categories: (i) web, (ii) TV, and (iii) Apps & Games. These projects will be analysed by tutors that will collaborate in their improvement, jointly with the authors, for later present them in pitching to the public and realise meetings with the players interested.

The programming nextMedia is the result of an association realised with Achilles Half, organiser of the BANFF WORLD MEDIATES FESTIVAL, nextMEDIA, nextSPORT, amongst other international events.

Also there will be a space of exhibition, with capacity for 7 stands to be commercialised to the companies interested in exposing their content to the participants of the event.
