Colombia Genera 2017 is going to take place from the 23 to 24 February in Cartagena (Colombia). It is organized by the National Association of Entrepreneurs of Colombia (ANDI). The event seeks to identify opportunities and challenges in the new business agenda of the mining-energy sector.
In recent years, the mining-energy sector has been the main driver of the Colombian economy, not only because of income, but also because of the impact it has generated on other industries thanks to the production linkages. Thus, the agenda in this edition is focused on analysing those factors that have an influence on the sector, especially related to climate change, illegal mining and hydrocarbons and the results of the last El Niño phenomenon.
