CILAC 2016: I open forum of Sciences of Latin America and the Caribbean
From 6 to 9 September held in Montevideo (Uruguay), the Latin American science open forum I and the Caribbean, CILAC 2016. You will be held in the framework of the 2030 Agenda on sustainable development and the 50 th anniversary of CASTALA, the first Conference on the application of science and technology to the development of Latin America, organized by UNESCO in cooperation with the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC).

From 6 to 9 September, held in Montevideo (Uruguay) I open forum of Sciences of Latin America and the Caribbean, CILAC 2016. Will be held in the framework of the sustainable development Agenda 2030 and the 50 th anniversary of CASTALA, the first Conference on the application of science and technology to the development of Latin America, organized by UNESCO in cooperation with the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC).

This important international event is organized jointly by:

  • Regional Bureau for Sciences of UNESCO for Latin America and the Caribbean
  • Council of Montevideo
  • National Agency for innovation and research (ANII)
  • University of the Republic (UDELAR)
  • Association of universities Grupo Montevideo (AUGM).

in addition, count with the auspices of the laboratory technology of the Uruguay (LATU), the network of popularization of science and technology in Latin America and the Caribbean (RedPOP) and Nacional of Uruguay to UNESCO Commission.
