The LA Referencia is the Latin American Federated Network of Institutional Repositories of Scientific Publications.
LA Referencia promotes the development of interoperability standards, sharing and giving visibility to the scientific production generated in higher education and scientific research institutions.
The national nodes integrate all the scientific articles, doctoral and master’s theses coming from more than a hundred universities and research institutions of the ten countries that make up LA Referencia, such as Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay.
It constitutes a structured and open-sourced information for technology intelligence monitoring available on the internet.
