CRIA is the Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer Unit of the Algarve University in Portugal. CRIA focused on promoting relationships among research and development units, researchers at the University and companies.
CRIA is specialized in supporting the creation of technology-based companies (start-ups and spin-offs) as a commitment to the knowledge transfer. The activities include management of incubation spaces, support for patents and consortia for applied research and technological development projects. CRIA is in charge of the Entrepreneurship Portal.
Furthermore they produce technology monitoring and competitive intelligence studies for specialized projects.
