The Observatory for Science, Technology and Innovation of the Organization of Ibero-American States (OCTS-OEI) represents one of the main organisations promoting science, technology and innovation indicators in Ibero-America, providing useful information for technology intelligence.
Its work is focused on developing science, technology and innovation strategic studies for Ibero-America in order to promote scientific culture and support initiatives for the dissemination of specialised information, such as Intelligo.
Among the most relevant collaboration initiatives, the OCTS-OEI supports R&D production indicators in close collaboration with the RICYT, participating in methodological manuals such as:
- Valencia Manual on the university-business linkage.
- Lima Manual on higher education issues.
